About me

Architect, Designer,
and Art Department All-rounder

M.A. Architecture, Dipl. Film & Media

Studying and working in both film and architecture, I have learnt that for me the key to success lies in the combination of two skillsets: that of an artist and that of a manager. One for creativity, imagination, atmosphere – and one for structure, clarity, and order. The artist in me can develop ideas freely with an open mind while working in a structured and analytical manner at the same time, always with a view to practical realization. My favorite challenges are those that motivate and inspire me to push or redefine the limits of feasibility. I consider it one of my greatest strengths to be able to bring order to creative chaos and direct it into structured channels without stifling it, whether it is my own or someone else‘s.

As tutor, workshop leader and organizer of an interdisciplinary lecture series at my university, I was able to prove my ability to organize, structure and communicate. When working in teams my colleagues appreciate not only my creative and crafting skills, but especially my talent for bringing structure to processes and plans. I was able to apply these skills in various projects over the last ten years, be it in film, theater, or architecture. A selection of these works can be seen in my portfolios.
I am passionate about creating my own designs and ideas, as well as helping others bring their vision to life, as can be seen in the various stations in my CV.

Outside of work…

Who am I outside of work? Tough question. As it is the case for many artists, I can’t always separate my personal life from my professional one. Where does one end and the other begin, when you turn your talents into a job and your passions into a career? They’re always interwoven. But that’s why I love my work so much.

Most of my hobbies are also part of my profession, like drawing, painting, or crafting. And yes, outside of work it can be hard to remind myself, that this is just for fun. To keep myself from setting hard deadlines and high expectations, to keep in mind I’m doing this for me. Honestly, with some things I am glad I wasn’t able to make them part of my job, so they stay mine. Like reading, playing the piano, singing, writing musical songs, writing a novel, baking, sailing, playing board games… and of course, spending time with my friends and family.

Hit me up!

I’m looking forward to hearing about your project and help you bring your vision to life!
